After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura. En-route visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. A unique sanctuary in the world for orphaned elephants. Afternoon visit Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first ancient capital from 1st century B.C. to 10th century A. D. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.

After early breakfast climb Sigiriya rock fortress. Declared as the 8th wonder of the ancient world. Afternoon visit ruins of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s 2nd Kingdom – popularly known as the medieval capital. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.

Early morning Optional: safari to Minneriya National Park with a packed breakfast.
Leave for Kandy as early as possible visiting Dambulla Cave Temple – famous for wall & ceiling paintings. Visit a Spice garden & a Batik factory on the way. In the evening witness the Cultural show & Fire-walking. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
